About us
The museum is located in the historic heart of Tábor. The entire exhibition is housed within a national cultural monument on Špitálské Square (Špitálské náměstí). Spanning over 200 m² inside this historic building, the exhibition showcases an incredible private collection of LEGO sets.
The exhibition is divided into themes, such as LEGO Architecture, LEGO Technic, LEGO Ideas, and more. There are hundreds of original models from around the world on display, and new interesting, rare, and exclusive pieces are constantly being added.

The Museum’s History
The idea was born in early 2012, when a private collector’s personal collection grew so large it could no longer fit in her home.
The idea was to present the entire collection to the general public and share it with them. Český Krumlov was initially identified as the location, but by chance, the collector heard about the possibility of renting commercial space in the historic centre of Tábor, entered the bidding process for the lease, and her project was selected by the town council. This was followed by a very intensive and rapid process of renovating and constructing the exhibition spaces and interiors so that they could be opened to the general public by the end of July 2012.
We look forward to seeing you
